In aged care, as in life generally, there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution. At The Henley Private Aged Care, we’ve gone to great lengths to provide a level of comfort and a luxury environment for our residents that allows them to choose how they live their lives and maintain control as they would do at home.
However, we also recognise that different residents have different needs and that those needs can and do, change.
High care residents may need assistance with mobility, feeding, cleaning and dressing. Residents with dementia brought about by Alzheimer’s or related conditions need a considered and thoughtful care plan. Residents requiring palliative care are also provided for.
Not matter what life-stage our residents are at, they will be looked after with a level of care that surpasses that provided by other providers.
So, how do we do it?
Tailored Care. Providing personalised and individual care for those with particular needs
At The Henley Private Aged Care, we have one of the highest staff to resident ratios in the industry. There’s always a minimum of one registered nurse and one personal carer (AIN) at all times.
As there are only 12 suites, our staff have the time to spend with each resident, getting to know them, understanding their particular needs and proving the appropriate levels of care as required.
Individual and personal care services are provided and managed by Luminise Care Solutions, experienced nurses who are leaders in the aged care industry. All Luminise staff have had double the amount of training in a broad range of areas including high, dementia and palliative care.
The best in care, the best in finance options
In addition to luxury surroundings and comfort, exceptional levels of dementia, palliative and high care, we have a range of payment options that ensure that you can maximise your budget.
We differ significantly from traditional nursing homes in that you can use your government-funded home care package to offset your costs of care and you won’t lose all or any of the funds that have accrued.
If you’ve got any questions that haven’t been answered on our Q&A page, please feel free to contact us directly to discuss your specific needs and payment options. We’re only too happy to offer advice.
